Sophie Stenbeck Family Foundation fund charitable organizations with impactful initiatives and potential for replication. Grantmaking is focused on three portfolios:

  • Child welfare
  • Women and entrepreneurship
  • Animal care and rescue

What we don’t fund

  • Support for individuals
  • Political organizations
  • Religious organizations

How to apply

Project Description

To apply, a project description not to exceed 350 words must include:

  • Description of the organization requesting support
  • Description of the initiative in need of funding including population to be served
  • Draft budget and timeline
  • Explanation of how success will be defined and measured

Follow up

If the Project Description meets current Foundation goals, follow up questions will be sent and a detailed letter of application will be requested.
